24 Spanish hotels have been chosen among the best in the world

The Spanish hospitality market is in luck. And is that 24 hotels in our country have been chosen among the top of the world. The Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Andalusia and Catalonia are the communities that have the honor of hosting these privileged establishments.

Thanks to the study of the travel portal HolidayCheck, which has awarded these 24 hotels that competed with more than 400,000 accommodations from all over the world, it has been shown that Spain has a wide and careful hotel infrastructure. Balearic Islands

Balearic Islands is the community that concentrates the most awards. MajorcaFor example, it concentrates eight of the award-winning hotels: Hotel Lago Garden, Grupotel Natura Playa, Hotel & Spa SŽEntrador Playa, Finca Hotel Ca`n Canals, Hotel Serrano Palace, Hotel Robinson Club Cala Serena, Hotel Hipotels Hipocampo Palace and Hipotels Cala Millor Park.

In Minorca There is another of the award-winning hotels: the Royal Son Bou Family Club hotel.

Canary Islands

In Gran canaria six awards have been distributed: hotel Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort, Spa & Casino, Gloria Palace Amadores Thalasso & Hotel, Gloria Palace San Agustin Thalasso & Hotel, Seaside Hotel Sandy Beach, Lopesan Villa del Conde Resort & Spa, Hotel Cordial Mogán Playa and Gloria Palace Royal Hotel & Spa.

In Tenerife The Hotel Dream Gran Tacande and the Hotel Tigaiga have been selected, while in Fuerteventura they have chosen the Sensimar Calypso Resosrt & Spa hotel.

Andalusia and Catalonia

In Andalusia There are two of the winning hotels: the Senator Granada Spa Hotel and the Hipotels Gran Conil Hotel. Finally, we have to mention the only hotel that has been selected in Catalonia: the Ayre Gran Vía Hotel.

How are they chosen?

Every year, the largest European travel portal selects the most popular hotels in the world after analyzing the opinions of more than 980,000 travelers. Based on this analysis, 390 hotels around the world have been awarded the HolidayCheck Award 2014, after reading almost a million opinions received during 2013.
