Escape to Liverpool

Albert Dock docks

To get started, get up to Albert Dock docks, an old port area from the late 19th century. The architecture of its buildings is very peculiar, although they soon fell into disuse and in the 20th century were relegated to oblivion. Luckily, a recent modernization plan and today Albert Dock is one of the most attractive and tourist areas of the city, where you will find the best shops and restaurants.

And if you like architecture you can visit the two modern cathedrals that Liverpool has: the enormous Anglican cathedral, built between 1901 and 1978, and the Metropolitan Cathedral, with a peculiar pyramidal shape that is accessed by a large staircase.

The birthplace of the Beatles

We have already said that the Beatles are linked to the essence of the city, and when you are there, you can not stop visiting the Cavern Pub, where they are supposed to have been discovered.
