The Agua Azul Waterfalls in Mexico

The Blue waterfall, which are in the state of Chiapas, in MexicoThey are one of the most spectacular natural places that I have seen in person in all my life. A true natural wonder that is in the municipality of Tumbalá and that are located in an area that was known by the Indians as «The Water Mountains». A heavenly landscape that is worth seeing at least once in a lifetime.

These spectacular waterfalls are from turquoise water, of that almost crystalline that makes many beaches become paradisiacal places. They have their origin in a descent of more than a thousand meters from various rivers, which shaped the waterfalls that exist today. The precious color of the water is due to the fact that the rocks through which it passes are bathed by various sediments, which means that when light reflects on the water, various colors filter.
