Interesting museums in Paris

Paris It is a city where you can find a lot of interesting places to visit, in addition to the great beauty and magic that all its corners have. If the call stands out for something "City of Light" It is for the large number and variety of museums that it houses, and it is that cultural life in the French capital is undeniably important.

Today I would like to write about your most interesting museums. We all know that the Louvre Museum It is the most spectacular, so since I wrote about it on one occasion, I will dedicate this article to others that are also worth visiting. Take note:

The Cinémathèque française - Musée du Cinéma

If you like cinema you will be fascinated by this museum. In it you can enjoy cameras, filming documents, clothing, spotlights, optical instruments and everything related to the world of cinema and its evolution from its beginnings to the present day. There are also objects and excerpts from some of the most famous films in film history. It is located at 51 rue de Bercy and its hours are from 12 to 7 p.m. from Monday to Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. It is closed on Tuesdays and admission is free on Sundays.

Musée Nissim de Camondo

It is in a beautiful mansion and in it you will move to century XVIII since from that time they are his paintings, objects of art, porcelains, etc. A time that is now back in fashion thanks to many television series and which is perfectly reflected in this museum. It is at rue de Monceau, 63 and is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Children under 18 are free, as are those under 26 who are from any country in the European Union.

Musée Maurice Denis

It is on rue Maurice Denis, in the old residence of Maurice Denis, who died in 1943 and his house began to be used as a museum. There are spectacular art collections with works by artists such as Vuillard, Gauguin, Valloton or Bonnard. It is open from Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and the first Thursday of the month it closes at 9 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays it closes at 18:30 and the first Sunday of the month the entrance is free.

Musée Rodin

I wrote about the Rodin Museum on one occasion as it is one of the most interesting in Paris. It is currently undergoing renovation but is still open, although there are areas that are closed. What you can find open is the tour of Rodin's life thanks to many of his works. It is on rue de Varenne, 79 and opens from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., closing on Mondays and being open on Wednesdays until 9:45 p.m. Access is free on the first Sunday of the month and any day for those under 18 years of age.
