Andorra Guide


Andorra It is a country that seduces many people for its great beauty, being specially chosen by ski lovers since there are many tracks in idyllic settings to practice this sport. It is in the Eastern Pyrenees and has an extension of almost 470 square kilometers, with an average altitude of 2,000 meters and a population of around 90,000 inhabitants.

Its climate is mainly cold, snowing a lot in winter and with enough rains in summer, something that makes its mountainous landscape look spectacular at any time of the year but especially in winter with almost all snow. This small country is made up of 7 parishes: Andorra la Vella (which is the capital), Canillo, Ordino, Encamp, La Massana, Les Escaldes-Engordany and Sant Julià de Lòria. Museums in Andorra


Despite being a small country, it has many museums of great interest. For example, in Ordino there are the Museu de la Miniatura-Museu Nikolaï Siadistry or the Farga Rossell. In San Julià de Lòria it is worth seeing the Tabac Museum, in the Massana the Casa Rull Museum, in Escaldes-Engordany the Maquet d'Art Romànic Museum or the Matrioshka Museum, while in the capital the most interesting is the Casa de la Vall.


Ice Palace


It's in Canillo and it is a space for sports where you can practice ice skating, swimming, tennis, curling or karting, in addition to other gym activities such as pilates or spinning. There is a part dedicated to children with a playground where they celebrate birthdays, in addition to having bars, restaurants, cinemas, theaters and shops where you can buy any item related to sports.

Naturlandia


It is in the Rabassa Snow Field, in the parish of Sant Julià de Lòira, and it is a theme park where you can enjoy sports and snow activities. The most spectacular attraction is the Tobotronc, which takes you to experience a dizzying descent through the forest for 6 kilometers.

Ski in Andorra


You can practice this sport in multiple mountains and on various routes, such as Pic de la Bassera, Pic de Medacorba, Pic de Tristaina or Pic de Font Blanca. They all have different levels so you can ski whether you are a beginner or an expert. For alpine skiing you have the famous Vallnord or Grandvalira, while if you prefer Nordic skiing you can enjoy it in La Rabassa.
