Tourist attractions in Toulouse


Toulouse, known as the Pink City, is located in the southwestern region of France. The city is about 700 km from Paris and its neighbor is the Garonne river, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. The inhabitants of this border city with Spain are very nice and will make your visit much more interesting. Its architecture is very interesting and will keep you entertained for a lot of hours. There are a lot of tourist attractions in and near the city of Toulouse. If you are going to travel there, you should not miss:

- Place du Capitole
Capitole is the high point of the city. Today it serves as the seat of the town hall and the Capitole theater, so entertainment is guaranteed. The outer plaza is surrounded by red brick buildings and the ground is marked with the Toulouse cross. Across the square, there are several cafes that will allow you to rest for a while with a drink.

- Jacobins Church
To the west of the Place du Capitole, there is the Gothic church of the Jacobins. It is made up of two impressive ships.

- Le Bazacle
Located on the banks of the Garonne river, it is an old bridge that is now a well-known tourist spot. Don't forget to include it in your itinerary


- Cité de l’Espace
In French "space city", it is a theme park that is also planetary. It provides the visitor with a good perspective on space adventures and even the history of space, from the Big Bang to the solar system. It was inaugurated in 1997. Recently they have included a special area totally dedicated to children, known as “the Children's base”.
