Holidays on the Costa Dorada


The Golden Coast It is tremendously known not only for its beauty but also because it is home to the famous Port Aventura theme park. Throughout its coastline you can find a lot of beaches and coves where you can enjoy your holidays, although you can also go sightseeing in a lot of municipalities where you can discover many places of great interest.

Here are some of the most interesting places on the Costa Dorada and in the future I will focus on each of its municipalities to be able to cover much more. Take note:

Roman Circus of Tarragona: It is very close to the old town of Tarragona and dates from before the 1st century, a time when you could enjoy the classic horse carriage races. It is one of the many traces that Roman history left in the city. It is between the Plaza del Rey and the Roman Amphitheater.

Vella Tower (Salou): It is almost five centuries old and was built to protect Salou from unwanted visits. Currently there is a wide variety of art exhibitions and cultural events. It also houses the Municipal Museum of Contemporary Enamel, which has a wide collection of enamels from around the world.

Hermitage Tower (Cambrils): It has been declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest thanks to how well it is preserved despite having its origins in the 14th century. It currently houses the Cambrils History Museum.

Reus old town: It is a very interesting place where you can stroll and stroll through one of the most beautiful open shopping areas on the Coast. There you can find a lot of typical products in food, crafts, fashion and much more.
