Palaces of vienna

One of the European cities that most attract me is Vienna, and although I have never been, it has always caught my attention, especially for having seen the films of Sissi Empress where you can see some spectacular palaces, parks and gardens. It is precisely the palaces of Vienna that I am going to talk to you about today as there are many of them and they are totally from a fairy tale, showing you in every corner all the magic, glamor and splendor that they have had and always will have.

Different styles and in different areas of the city, these are the palaces of vienna that most attract my attention:

Hofburg Imperial Palace: It is in the old part of the city and was the residence of several generations of emperors and nobles. Here is the Sissi museum, the empress, in addition to the Riding School. It has spectacular imperial salons and is currently the official residence of the President of the Republic. It has 18 wings that comprise some 2,600 rooms ranging from the Gothic style to historicism. One of the most visited places in Vienna, having been the residence of Francisco José and Sissi.

Schönbrunn Palace: It is a World Heritage Site and many different royal families from all over Europe have spent many summers there. It was built at the end of the 17th century and has spectacular gardens that give it great beauty and elegance. It is classic in style, it is known as the Viennese Versailles and it is one of the most important cultural places in Austria since you can see different sculptures, fountains and labyrinths.

Belvedere Palace: This luxurious palace is divided into two, one high and one low, both in the Baroque style. Here you will find the Baroque Art Museum, the Medieval Museum and the Austrian Art Gallery. A true wonder if you like to appreciate art in its purest form. It was built to be the summer residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy, in the highest part of the garden is the so-called Alto Belvedere, the main building of this whole complex and which has a beautiful facade.
