- Museums
One of the things you can do in Faro is to visit one of its museums. The Municipal Museum of Archeology is a very popular option and exhibits different objects that will keep you entertained for quite a while. It has paintings, sculptures, and many other historical pieces. It is located in Praça Alfonso. Another museum is the Algarve Regional. This one offers contemplation of traditional handmade items such as saddles and fishing nets. It is located in the Prace de Liberdade.
- Beaches
If you want to enjoy outdoor activities, there are many beaches that you can enjoy in Faro. The Ilha de Tavira is equipped with lifeguards, hammocks and umbrellas. It also has restaurants and a parking lot. The Ilha de Armona Beach is known for being a beautiful and relaxing area for those who enjoy going for a walk. Two beaches offer activities such as snorkeling and diving. They are the Ilha de Culatra and the Ilha de Barreta.
- Night life
As for nightlife, there are bars, clubs and many entertainment venues that will allow you to have a great time. One of the most important areas is Rua do Before. You must pay a visit to the Millennium III club that has live DJs and artists.
