The airport is located 17 kilometers (10.5 miles) east of Panama City.

The airport is accessible through the Corredor Sur toll motorway or via Vía Tocumen. From the center of Panama City, it takes less than 20 minutes through the Corridor. Due to heavy traffic, access via Vía Tocumen can take an hour or more.
