Places to visit in Michigan

If you have decided to spend a few days in this American state, here are some of the places that do not you must miss:

- Ann Arbor
The area displays all the diversity and culture that one would expect from a large university city. Simply walking through the streets of the center and seeing the small cafes, the independent bookstores and the different exhibitions that the students make will keep you entertained for several hours.

- Battle Creek
It is the headquarters of Kellogg’s, a fact that you must celebrate by visiting the museum that the cereal factory has. The Binder Zoo is also a very popular attraction.

- Lansing
The biggest attraction is the State Capitol Building. For children it is the ideal site, since they can visit the museums and then they can take a walk through the Potter zoo that will allow them to see their favorite animals up close.

- Mackinac Island
Take a ferry from the city of Mackinaw to this unique island, where cars are banned and art and crafts take over the island. Enjoy a long walk with a visit to the historic Fort Mackinac.

- Traverse City
It is the perfect place to enjoy nature, golf, cherries and works of art. Its National Cherry Festival, which is celebrated during the month of July, is very famous.

- Cedar Point
It is possibly one of the best amusement parks in the world. It has 16 roller coasters. For those who are not lovers of sensations, Camp Snoopy offers different diversions for the little ones.
