The golden sandy beaches of the free (unoccupied) district of Ammochostos They gently skirt the eastern corner of the island. -Deryneia
The town is made up of three interesting churches, and from it you can see the "ghost town" of Ammochostos. It was once the most popular Cypriot tourist center, but it was left uninhabited in 1974 and all its inhabitants are now refugees.
-Sotira
You will find 5 Byzantine churches of considerable importance for their architectural style and construction.
-Liopetri
Here you can also find a great church. Liopetri still stands out for its traditional basketry crafts.
