Tarragona may boast of being the city with the largest nativity scene in Europe in 2008. Thanks to the project Nativity scene Bancaja, the Catalan province will exhibit from November 29 to January 6 this Nativity Scene that will be located in the Tarragona central market.
Will occupy 2,000 square meters and will have 1,200 figures created by artists of the level of José Luis Mayo. It took 3 years and 10,000 hours of work175 kilos of glue, 300 of paint, 200 of nails, a ton of esparto grass and six of plaster.
