We are talking about an international contest and inspired by the list of Seven Wonders of the World of antiquity, most of which no longer exist. The selection was carried out through a vote among citizens around the world through email to choose seven wonders for free, although you could also pay two dollars to obtain a certificate of voting for a candidate or vote by calling a number pay phone.
The seven New Wonders of the World chosen, in order of appearance, were unveiled at the Estadio de La Luz in Lisbon, Portugal on July 7, 2007.

1.- Great wall of china, China (between the Yellow River and the Bohai Sea).
2.- Petra city, Jordan.
3.- Christ redeemer, Rio de Janeiro Brazil.
4.- Macchu Picchu, Cusco, Peru.
5.- Kukulcan Temple in Chichen Itzá (Yucatan, Mexico).
6.- Coliseum, Rome Italy.
7.- Taj Mahal, Agra, India.
