Fortasec®, the most effective solution against traveler's diarrhea


Do you know the traveler's diarrhea? It is the one experienced by 40% of people who travel to the tropics during their stay or shortly after returning. It is not usually a serious problem, but it can sometimes cause the affected person to spend two or three days in bed, with the consequences that this entails if it is an organized trip.

A bacterium, virus, or parasite is to blame for traveler's diarrhea, which is also known as intestinal flu. An infection occurs due to microorganisms such as Echerichia coli, Shigela, Salmonella, Campylobacter, Rotavirus and Giardia Lamblia.

Gastrointestinal movements and secretions normalize, causing the liquid stools to decrease so that the body returns to its normal state.

The antidiarrheal is recommended for adults and minors from 12 years. It is marketed in packages of 10 or 20 hard capsules and 12 oral lyophilisates. In each capsule or lyophilisate there are 2 mg of Loperamide Hydrochloride.

For occasional acute diarrhea they have thrown Fortasec® Flas, which is especially recommended for those who have trouble swallowing tablets. It dissolves on your tongue without having to drink water and does not require any special storage temperature, making it perfect to take with you on the go. Tips to prevent traveler's diarrhea

The most important thing is to avoid consuming all kinds of Drinks and food that may be contaminated, so it is recommended to drink bottled and closed water, checking that the bottle has not been refilled. Avoid drinking from the tap, no matter how much you think it is drinking water.

Washing your hands well with soap and water, eating cooked food or eating peeled fruit for yourself are other tips, as well as avoiding ice cubes in drinks, do not bathe in lakes, reservoirs and rivers or disinfect water and food with portable kits or drinking tablets.
