We are going to start our tour of the most beautiful villages of the Balearic Islands in Mallorca, where we can find such beautiful places as Sóller. This attractive town is located on the northwest coast of Mallorca, specifically in a fertile valley where Fornalutx and Biniaraix are also found. It is a valley famous for its orange groves and its ancient olive trees. One of the main attractions of this place is the Train of Sóller, which since 1912 has made the journey between Palma de Mallorca and the town without interruption.
We continue in Mallorca to tell you about Deià, known in Spanish as Deyá, a town located on the side of a small hill in the North Coast. Specifically, the town is located between the Sierra de Tramuntana and the sea, and offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean. You will love its old Mallorcan houses, its beautiful coves and its exquisite gastronomy.
Binibeca Vell, Menorca
From Mallorca, the main island of this autonomous community, we moved to Menorca, which, as we have mentioned before, for us is the most beautiful of all the islands. There are many beautiful towns in this place, but we want to highlight Binibeca Vell, also known as Binibèquer Vell. It is a town built as an imitation of an old fishing village. It has a unique charm.
Also in Menorca we find Fornells, a fishing village (this one is authentic), located in the north of the island, of which its traditional port and its large bay stand out, which is more than 3 kilometers long. If you visit this town you can not miss the stew lobster, in addition to the Fornells Tower.
Dalt Vila, Ibiza
We change our island again to visit Ibiza. Known for its beaches and nightlife, it also has beautiful towns worth visiting. Without a doubt, one of the most beautiful corners is Dalt Vila, which is not really a town, but the old case of the city. Even so, we wanted to include it in this list for its beauty and its cultural importance. Bounded by some Renaissance walls, this neighborhood is made up of narrow alleys and white houses. It is important to note that this place was declared a World Heritage Site by the Unesco in 1999.
Sant Carles de Peralta, Ibiza
In Ibiza we also find Sant Carles de Peralta, a place that is full of almond, carob and fig trees. Of course, you may like the most about this small town of rural houses are its attractive bars and restaurants, in addition to its church, built in 1785. Every Saturday in summer and some in low season opens the famous market Las Dalias.
Sant Francesc Xavier, Formentera
Finally, we are going to talk about Sant Francesc Xavier, a beautiful town considered the capital of the island, since here is the Town Hall. It offers tourists an environment quiet, festive and cozy.
