The rural tourism It became fashionable a few years ago and is a true success around the world, especially in Europe, where there are spectacular places to discover and spend a fantastic holiday while being in contact with nature and avoiding the madding crowd. A British newspaper produced a list some time ago with the Ireland's best destinations for rural tourism, so I will give you a brief summary if you want to choose that country for your holidays:
– Delphi Mountain Station, County Galway: It is between the Killary port and the Bundorragha river and there you can practice all kinds of non-motorized sports in all its forests, rivers and beaches, in addition to being able to bathe with organic seaweeds. The accommodation costs around € 40 a night.
– Shelter on Trinity Island, Cavan County: Located on its own forest island, you can spend the day swimming or fishing, in addition to going to the sauna or doing other types of activities. The weekend costs you around € 700 and the whole week € 1,100.
– Cnoc Suain, County Galway: It is a beautiful stone house that was reformed to become an estate. Twice a week they have Irish poetry and music read live and around the fire. The weekend costs you from € 450.

–Clare Island Yoga Retreat, Mayo County: If you want to totally withdraw from the world for a few days this is the ideal place to do it. There is a yoga studio and a country house in the hills. It has views of the Atlantic Ocean. About € 250 for a weekend.
