If what you want is to practice some trekking, you must go to the northwest of the country. You will surely be surprised by the variety of the terrain and the different types of vegetation that you will find. Near Bobbo-Dioulasso you will find the most lush hills you can imagine. The hills they can reach 750 meters high and are usually made up of solid stones and sandstone.
Hire the services of a guide and a good bicycle and head to what is known as the town of sacrifices: La Mare aux Poisson Sacres de Dafra. The Offerings and the live chicken sacrifices are impressive. If you decide to follow the path by bicycle, you will surely be able to reach some of the cliffs in the area. In Banfora, you can take a good walk to the falls of Karfiguela. Near the village of Sindou you will find the formations known as Sindou Rock.
