One of the most beautiful valleys in the Pyrenees
Located in the northeast of Huesca, in Aragon, the Benasque Valley is considered one of the most abrupt and beautiful from all the Pyrenees and the truth is that it is not surprising, since it has more than 30 villas and villages of great charm thanks to its architecture from Alto Aragón, beautiful Romanesque churches and a dreamy landscape made up of numerous rivers, forests and lakes. Of course, we must not forget the hospitality of its people, its gastronomy and the richness of its traditions.
What to do in the Benasque Valley
Beyond contemplating nature, in the Benasque Valley you will have the possibility of making a lot of activities. For example, thanks to its privileged location (we remember that it is at the foot of the Pyrenean peaks), it is an ideal place to ski and do other types of winter sports, such as snowboard, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, sledding or snowshoeing. Of course, we recommend hiking as the best and easiest way to get to know the territory, being able to walk along old bridle paths, huts and other types of trails.
In addition, you will be able to carry out BTT and bicycle touring routes; car routes, including 4 × 4; and different adventure sports both in the air and in the water and on land: paragliding, rafting, kayaking, canoeing, climbing, mountaineering, horses, paintball, quads, hunting, fishing ... Of course, you will find a lot of gastronomy, wellness and shopping options where you will find everything you need to enjoy of your stay in this beautiful place.
What to see in the Benasque Valley

Thus, you can enjoy the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park; of the three thousand emblematic peaks, highlighting the Aneto, of 3,404 meters of altitude; of the 71 ibones that dot the secondary valleys; of the waterfalls; of the different valleys; of the different jungles of the valley, composed of mature, young forests, shrubs and meadows; and from many other corners.
As for cultural heritage, we must not forget that it is a place full of history, as well as being an area with very particular and charming customs, folklore, architecture and gastronomy.
