Lufthansa has officially unveiled its new grand hall at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. The installation covers almost 16,000 meters square, approximately twice the size of the company's previous salon, and has three levels, each dedicated to different passenger “segments”.
The new facilities are located just behind the security area of the terminal 1 From the airport.
First class
The new facilities allow users after taking the exquisite Dinner that serve you, can take a relaxed shower.
Menu options include a large buffet and even a la carte dishes. Afterwards, travelers can have one of their delicious desserts; chocolate mousse and the juicy Apple pie. The beverage selection includes a wide selection of international premium wines.
Senator Lounge
Located in the second levelIt has beautiful parquet floors and a staffed bar area that offers a large assortment of local drinks in addition to German wines and beers. The capacity of this room has almost doubled and now it offers seating for 124 travelers. Shower service is also available.
Business Class Lounge
It is located on the main floor. The large new area has the capacity to 171 passengers, around the 75 percent more than the original room. The room features modern decor elements such as leather seats and designer counters. The services also include an entertainment area with four LCD televisions and seats for 18 users, a work table with leather seats that are integrated into the wall.
A luxury within the reach of very few.
