Yorkshire Dales National Park in England

In Britain you can find a lot of natural landscapes that are spectacular, both in Scotland and in Wales or England. In any of these countries there is nature practically at every step, and a lot of National Parks where you can spend an unforgettable day in a purely natural environment. Today I would like to write about one of those in England, specifically in the county of Cumbria, and which is one of the most famous in the whole country.

Its about Yorkshire Dales National Park, covering almost 1,800 square meters, most of them belonging to North yorkshirehence the park is called that. It is a park that receives more than 8 million visitors every year, a figure that is constantly increasing as more and more people want to discover all the beauty that they can find here. In addition, it is a very peculiar park since about 20,000 people live or work in it. There are many routes to cross all its valleys, both by bicycle and on foot.

This spectacular park even has its own museum inside, in addition to 5 visitor centers where all the necessary information is offered so that your visit can be a true experience. Among the most beautiful places you can find in the park are the Bolton Castle or various waterfalls, such as those of Aysgarth, Hawes, Grassington or Malham.

Near the hills to the east is a spectacular medieval town worth visiting: Sedbergh. Another of the towns there is Dentdale, considered the best in the Cumbria area since the most beautiful valleys belong to it. Without a doubt, you will not only enjoy visiting the park, but in any of the municipalities to which it belongs you will find the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday in a totally calm environment.
