Latin Quarter of Paris

Many are the corners of paris that you can visit if you are going to be in this wonderful city, and we have also talked about many of them on this website. Today we bring one of the busiest and best-known neighborhoods, the Latin Quarter, which is very close to the Notre Dame Cathedral and the truth is that it catches you well wherever you are. It is one of the neighborhoods that has the most life, especially at night, which is where both Parisians and tourists go out.

There is nothing in particular that you should visit in the Louvre Museum plan, Eiffel Tower or any monument that is a must see in Paris, but it is wonderful to take a walk through its narrow streets full of bars, restaurants and cafes, which are also the cheapest in the city, something that is appreciated because it is not easy find a good, nice and cheap place to eat in paris. The Plaza San Miguel, the Church of San Severín and the Museo del Cluny are the most interesting places in the Latin Quarter.

It is also wonderful to take a walk around the area that borders the Seine river, having in the distance the Notre Dame Cathedral. You are probably thinking that his name comes from Latin, but it is not. During the Middle Ages many university students who spoke Latin in order to understand each other lived in this area, so the name was given to it by the Latin language and not by the Latin blood.

For me it is one of the most charming neighborhoods in the city, but I love visiting old areas, medieval styleAlthough they have advanced over time, they still keep that something so special that we like so much when we see it in a movie.
