New Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Vienna


In April it will open its doors in Vienna a new branch of Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, which will be the fourth to be opened in Europe after the great success of those in Amsterdam, Berlin and London. In the rest of the world, wax figures can be admired in major tourist destinations such as Bangkok, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Washington and Shanghai. Currently completing its construction, is located in the Prater Park, a place where annually about 3 million people usually go and which was the scene of a film by Orson Wells (The Third Man).

Among the many world-famous characters to be included in the museum, there will also be national figures such as Mozart, Hayden and Strauss, who will live with other already confirmed characters such as pilot Niki Lauda or former actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and surely to many others sports or show stars They also have a replica in other museums, such as Brad Pitt, Barack Obama, Michael Jackson, Eva Longoria and a long list of celebrities to which an authentic party is mounted when a new figure is presented in society.

Madame Tussauds Museum is the best known in the world thanks to their wax figures, some of them representing specific moments of great relevance in history. The headquarters is the one in London, where the first permanent exhibition opened in Baker Street in 1835, made by Madame Tussauds, an artist who for that exhibition modeled figures of people who were victims of the guillotine, which are currently exposed in the section of the "Chamber of Horrors" in the English city.
