The Los Angeles airport, better known as LAX, is in the Westchester area, southeast of the city. It is the airport with the most direct flights in the world and is the third in the United States and fifth in the world with the highest passenger traffic. It is the second most important in terms of international transit in the country after the JFK in New York and the one with the most flights from the United Airlines company.

Highlight the Tom Bradley International Terminal, inaugurated in 1984 on the occasion of the Olympic Games in the city and which is in the western part of the airport.
