Fifth Avenue in New York


In the United States, in the city of NY, is one of the main and most famous avenues in the world, the Fifth Avenue, in the heart of Manhattan. It is one of the most expensive and important streets in the world and, of course, in the city. On Fifth Avenue you can find not only the stores of most luxurious firms of the world, but also the mansions and luxury apartments, some of them with a garage in the same door of the house and that goes up, like people, in an elevator. At the end of the 19th century, when the street already had the appearance of being more commercial than residential, the Astoria Hotel It was already aiming high because it is located where today the mythical Empire State Building is, where many films have been recorded.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the richest people in the city moved to 59 and 96 streets, where the part of Central park, in buildings created since 1920 by architects such as Rosario Candela and R. Carpenter. A few blocks away, between 88 and 89, there is a spectacular building that is totally worthy of a street like this: the Guggenheim museum, which is also not the only important building on this famous avenue. Here you can also visit the Public Library, the Rockefeller Center or the Metropolitan Museum Of Art.

But what most attracts the attention of Fifth Avenue is, without a doubt, its luxurious stores. Among the best are Tiffany & Co, Cartier, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel ... without leaving behind one of the most desired whims for half the world: the Apple store, where there is a spectacular cube 10 meters wide that gives way to a completely underground store and where you can find all kinds of virguerías that have to do with the bitten manzanita. Of course, you can stop to eat in one of the typical hot dog stands, every tourist must eat one!
