HostelBookers, an online provider of cheap accommodation worldwide, has just presented the new edition of the HostelBookers Awards for excellence. For the second consecutive year, this company has decided to award the best hostels in the world according to the evaluations of its clients.
Divided into eleven categories, these awards highlight the cleanest, best located, most popular hostels, with the best value for money, ... on different continents. The hostels have been chosen based on the evaluations that each received during 2010 in the different categories.
It is important to highlight that in this 2011 edition two Spanish hostels have been awarded in the category of "Best situation":
Hospedaje Donosti @ B&B It is a most pleasant hostel located in the heart of San Sebastián, close to restaurants, shopping centers and discos. The atmosphere is intimate and very pleasant, and allows you to enjoy a comfortable stay and they are complications. The price of the room includes breakfast, bed linen, towels, luggage storage and an airport pick-up service, but last but not least guests also have access to kitchen, lounge, parking and Internet. This hostel in San Sebastián is one of the best for couples and small groups of friends since it has private rooms with private bathrooms in a cozy environment, perfect for those who want to enjoy their privacy.
The other award-winning hostel is The Living Roof, a Seville hostel located 3 minutes walk from the Cathedral and 5 minutes walk from the main attractions of the Andalusian capital. The facilities include air conditioning, a lounge, a 24-hour reception, a fully equipped kitchen, a bar and Internet access.
