Les Arcs It is located in the Tarentaise region of France in the French Alps, above Bourg St Maurice. In case you need more information to locate yourself, know that it is located south of the Aiguilles de Chamonix mountain range. The ski resort Les Arcs can become an excellent rival to other much better known resorts, due to its variety of slopes and its reputation as avant-garde, innovative and a pioneer in snow sports.

The link with La Plagne (Another excellent area), offers athletes some of the best places to ski in the world. The areas are truly vast. As a curious fact, it is good that you know that the complex is one of the easiest to reach from the center of London, since it has a direct Eurostar train service.

The journey it is only eight hours. Once the train journey has been made, you can take the funicular that in seven minutes will take you to Arc 1600 from the train station, so getting to the tracks is very easy. Les Arcs has been formed with a series of ‘towns‘Called Arc 1600, 1800, 1950 and 2000 (the figures refer to the altitude).

They all went built between 1950 and 1960 and as a result of the arrival of the 70s some transformed their architecture into works of true design. Arc 1950 was one of the last to develop. Arc 1800 is the area you must visit if you want to discover the night life of the complex, the other three bases are quieter.
