Andalusia It is one of the Autonomous Communities of our country that receives more visitors every year, and it is that there you can find all kinds of towns and cities with a lot of charm and different styles so that you can find in them what you are looking for. Beaches, small towns, alleys ... a perfect combination to which is added the good climate that it tends to do during practically the whole year.

Between the provinces of Cádiz and Málaga you can find «The route of the white villages», a route in which you will get to know many towns that share mountain and sea, in many occasions also surrounded by a spectacular natural environment. Furthermore, all these towns have the White Houses, typical in Andalusia, which leaves a very striking and very charming landscape.

The style of these towns is due to a tradition that goes back several decades and that was to put the houses in this color to repel heat, also decorating them with pots and flowers so they could have some color. This route includes towns like Zahara de la Sierra, Alcalá del Valle, Algodonales, Benaocaz, El Bosque, Prado del Rey, Torre Alháquime, Ubrique or Villamartín.

Most of these towns are found in the Sierra region, which is in the province of Cádiz. One of the most outstanding is Arcos de la Frontera, one of the most beautiful towns in the whole country and which is strategically located on top of a mountain and with wonderful views of the Guadalete River. To be able to do the route you will have to deviate in some places to visit some villages so it is not in a straight line. A fantastic opportunity to discover one of the most beautiful areas of our country.
