A few weeks ago the ski season began and thousands of people move to various stations to enjoy a few days practicing this wonderful sport outdoors. One of the countries that receives the most tourism of this type is Andorra, which has several stations and truly magical places for skiing.
Thanks to its average altitude of almost 2,000 meters above sea level, Andorra becomes one of the most attractive places to offer to its tourists, especially in the ski season, although it also has very interesting monuments and cities to visit at any time. of the year. Anyway, today I would like to focus on the best ski resorts in Andorra and in what each of them offers. Take note:
– Grand Valira: It is an excellent facility that has a spectacular complex with 18 slopes so you can ski there whatever your level. There are 193 kilometers of tracks and you can get there by different roads, also having hotels and various leisure centers. The cable car takes you to the slopes of the Coll Blanc and can move about 450 skiers every hour.
– Vallnord: It is the second most important in this small country and very peculiar thanks to its geographical characteristics as it has two ski areas that are separate but belong to the same complex, Ordino-Arcalís and Pal Arinsal. It has an area of almost 1,200 hectares and more than 60 slopes for all levels with almost 90 working kilometers for skiing. It is estimated that almost 50,000 people may be skiing at the same time.
