Have you heard of Annapolis?


Religion and government have always been very close in the state of Maryland. The city was founded in 1649 by the Puritans and they gave it the name of Anne Arundel. But it was in 1695 when they changed the name to Annapolis. Although the name of the town was changed, this historical development is preserved and protected in the city. You will be able to see many places where the previous name is kept.

This beautiful city has always been very curious. The brick sidewalks that were built in the 1700s still support the walks of thousands of visitors year. Currently, most of the houses 18th century and government offices are lined up in the city center. You can find a lot of taverns scattered throughout the city and that mix with some of the best restaurants seafood.


The dome of the Maryland Statehouse dominates the indescribable and beautiful Chesapeake Bay. The Statehouse, which was built between 1772 and 1779, is the oldest wooden dome in the country. Today 35,000 people reside in this beautiful city. The fishing area offers tours by boat with impressive views, with historical narratives included.


Another place you must visit is the Naval Academy. There you can enjoy beautiful views of the river. But when night begins to fall, what you should do is go to your hotel, change and go find a good restaurant. You must try the delicious crab that is cooked in the area.
